if the background isn't displaying then it because of the screen ratio,not the type of t.v.(HDTV vs SDTV) (chewy n sexy me) go to setting, displa, CHANGE screen ratio, if you still don't see it, change theme to something else, then go back to Vida theme the display will be outta proportion but y'all see her fine ass nonetheless this is how i got it to show before getting an hd tv
