It's funny, of all the themes I've created, I always leave my PS3 set to the default, minimalistic theme. I just like having something that, in my mind, best reflects the hardware, and the subtle craftsmanship that goes into its design. So my mission with this was to create a theme that *I* would use.

This is what I came up with: 'CELL Project'

I'll leave whoever is curious to decide how I came up with that name. Of note, I took a great deal of time setting up the specular high-lights and the materials used in the scene, so very little post-processing was needed after the final output render.

and . . . er . . a rehost would be welcome.

Wow. I downloaded this ps3 theme. Put it on. worked fine for about a week. Then out of nowhere, my 80gig's hardrive is fragged. this theme did something to my hard drive. might have had a trojan. Be CAREFUL!!!!!

The most overrated Theme on this site. I personally don't see how this is so great, but it doesn't matter anyway, because keeping tabs on it, it's obvious someone is using an IP agent to submit multiple votes and keep it near the top.

Great theme. I've been looking for something minimalistic like this for a while - like you, I've just been sticking with the default. I could never find the perfect balance of icons and background. Nice theme. :)

Agreed, by far the best theme I've seen to date. I'm the same way, I like very simple, elegant themes. Until now, my theme of choice has been Silver Shadow (came out within days of the release of the theme creation toolkit), and now this is my theme, and I suspect it will remain so for some time. I do have a request, however: any chance of an update? Only change I want is icons for the Trophies item under the Game category and Internet Search under Network. Again, beautiful work, man. This is one of the sickest all time themes. If anyone out there renders their own backgrounds out, it will automatically be a featured theme. This is the one that set the bar and hasnt been touched yet.
