What I meant was that you have used background images whose aspect ratio differs from the standard HDTV 16:9, and have horizontally stretched the image to fit the screen field. I realize that many folks set their TVs to do this automatically to 4:3 programs, but I've always hated the resulting distortion. So, there is nothing wrong with the way they run, and, as I said earlier, I quite like your designs, it just comes down to a personal preference with the BG images.
