no; you are a pompous buffoon who does not know history. this story other than the lovers tale is 100% true as the 300 spartans really did hold off the persian empire for 3 days in the casum f the hot gates at Thermopile in ancient Greece and wound up killing several thousands of the persians before the last spartan soldier fell.

well sohrab from your comment, your not being very civilized, persia was a civilization that was built on conquering other countries and the greeks did not want that to happen to them because they would be enslaved. sohrab, you my friend is the arogrant one. i myself am GREEK i know my GREEK HISTORY. and you are wrong, the 300 spartans really happen. only differance is that about 1500 started the battle and 300 died to protect what they belived and loved. it scared the persians, they sent at least 4-5times the number of troops and they only killed and little over 300. that is the HISTORY whats next you gona tell me the battle for TROY never happen? before you act all big, you best know your S***. and on the first civilized nation, thats a lie. if the GREEKS were barbaric as you say. then the persians were cavemen, the persians were much alike to vikings.
